Funny business...

Designing to trigger behaviour change is a tricky proposition. One technique we employ is humour. This is to entice, engage and hopefully leave a lasting impact. Carrot, rather than stick. Kind of.

A good example of this is our work with Alcohol Concern, where we created a set of conversation starters to use at conferences and other events. The brand had been preceived as too ‘preachy’, so it was important to create something light-hearted while still conveying serious health messaging.

Check out our #NeverAgain campaign and Alcohol Concern Impact Reports for further examples of this technique in play.
